The "Un" Mask Effect !!
I have been in Bengaluru for more than 15 years now, living with family and having a smooth ride. COVID 19 came as a speed breaker in all our lives, slowing down the traffic of life (I presume it was much needed as life was going on at break neck speed). Perhaps nature felt man is getting too possessive and wanted to give all of us a lesson. With masks and sanitizers and of course vaccinations we have come this far in the second year. Our ultimate goal is salvation from COVID and to be able to roam around without any inhibitions. In Bengaluru especially, I see we have been taking things very lightly now that the cases have come down. People are out on their vehicles, without masks and without any form of social distancing. The inevitable is yet to come. Not heeding to medical advise of wearing masks is very unhealthy, not only for oneself but to others as well. Mask has become like a helmet - do not wear for safety but only to avoid being caught without it. This "un"masking...
